Communication with Faculty & Staff

In alignment with the Dean's office principles of communication and responsiveness, we seek to provide regular, timely, and transparent communication to keep all members of the College of Arts & Sciences community in the loop and aware of important updates in Arts & Sciences and across the university.

The two primary means of communication from the Dean's office are:

• Weekly messages each Friday from Dean Raitt during the semester. The weekly messages provide important news and updates, reminders, and occasionally a bit of humor.
• Inside Arts & Sciences monthly email newsletter. This monthly newsletter provides updates from across the College of Arts & Sciences and shares information relevant to members of the CAS community. Submit newsletter content.

Additionally, vice deans send a twice-monthly message to chairs and program directors with important administrative information and upcoming deadlines.

At the end of each academic year, faculty and staff receive the Arts & Sciences Year in Review summarizing the year and celebrating achievements of our community. View the most recent Year in Review.
