The Great GITsby: ACM’s Formal and Senior Sendoff
This past Thursday, April 24, 2025, the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Society of Women in Computing (SWC) chapters at William and Mary merged branches to engage in a night of joy and whimsy. After some music, Peter Chang, and card signing, the club announced superlatives and commemorated its beloved graduating seniors. Over fifty people across ACM, SWC, Google Developer Student Club, Robotics Club, Game Design Club, and the 1991 Linux Club were in attendance.

Keeping this train fueled and on its tracks are the glittering new exec board. They scheme, they plot, and they execute. This semester, ACM has learned about web scraping, Linux, open source projects, website making, and even held a cybersecuri-tea party. As the Fall 2025 semester approaches, ACM is preparing for another array of events, including the World of Tech Club Fair and the eleventh annual hackathon, &hacks.
