The Sharpe Community Scholars Program offers curricular support and opportunities for participatory action research development to faculty and students across the curriculum. Our goal is to connect academic work to real-world community action and research.
Are you ready and willing to join a community of scholars, in learning and research with and within communities? Do you want to learn to design community action and research plans to address real world concerns?
The Sharpe Living-Learning Community program is exclusively developed for first-year scholars who
- Live in a residence hall with other Sharpe Scholars
- Enroll in courses specifically designed to teach how to integrate community action with learning and research
- Are eligible to apply for special summer research funding
