ACE (Applied Clinical Experience)

 

In collaboration with VCU Health, 10 students per semester receive 40+ hours of clinical shadowing experience at VCU’s Henry Street Clinic, which is within walking distance of campus, along with a weekly discussion and reflection class taught by W&M faculty. This course is offered every Fall and Spring and can be repeated once, providing nearly half of the 200+ clinical hours necessary for competitive medical school applications. This closely mentored experience offers a convenient and dynamic clinical setting for students without prior clinical experience.
