Katie received her Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the College of William & Mary. Prior to teaching architecture, she practiced in downtown Norfolk with Work Program Architects and Hanbury, Architecture & Planning. She has led all phases of the design and construction process while working on a variety of commercial and residential projects.
