Social Media Buttons

Want to promote your social media channels or events calendar? With Cascade's option to add social media buttons, you can include links to your department, office or group's:

• Facebook
• Instagram
• Threads
• X
• YouTube
• LinkedIn
• Flickr
• Pinterest
• Twitch
• Discord
• RSS/Blog 
• Podcast
• Soundcloud
• W&M Events

The links will be placed below your page menu (like the Events button you see here on our site).

Instructions

1. Edit your homepage folder.
2. Set "Show social media links" to "Yes".
3. Enter your social media account info in the provided text boxes.
   1. Tip: For most of the available platforms, enter just the social media handle. Only Blog URL and Podcast URL require the full URL (with "https://www.")
4. Publish your site's folder.

Don't want social media links in a section of your site?

At any point in your site's folder tree, edit a folder and set "Show social media links" to "No". From that folder down the links will not display. 

Want different social media links in a section of your site?

Edit a folder, set "Show social media links" to "Yes" and enter a completely different set of social media links to be applied from that folder down.
