Embedding an Audio File
To place an embedded audio file player in the main region of a page or story follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Get the URL of an audio file
If you have an audio file you'd like to play and it is not already hosted on a site like Soundcloud (which you could link off to in your content or via a widget), upload it to a publicly accessible site like media.wm.edu. Copy the full URL of the audio file (ending in .mp3, .m4a, .wav, .aac, .ogg or .mpeg), including the "http://".
Step 2: Edit the page where you want to add the audio
Type the following directly into the Cascade editor substituting "audio-url" for the URL from step 1:

The vertical bar you see in front of audio-url is often called a "pipe" and is located above the enter key on most keyboards. On some keyboards it looks like 2 vertical dashes.
