Processing Personnel Actions & EPAF Transactions

Personnel Actions

Personnel Action Form (PAF): A PAF is used for a variety of changes to an employee’s status such as leave, faculty pay increase, temporary pay, or for additional payments such as moving & relocation or bonuses. Defined uses are identified on the PAF.

 Electronic Personnel Action Form (ePAF): An ePAF is used for specific transactions; a current list of available ePAF transactions is available on our website. If the transaction you wish to process is not listed, please use the paper personnel action form. Additional ePAFs are in the process of being developed.

Professional Service Agreement (PSA): A Professional Service Agreement (PSA) is a contract between W&M and an employee for services performed. These services are not part of the employee’s normal duties and are often performed by an independent contractor. Use of a PSA should be discussed with UHR in advance.
