The Office of the University Registrar provides a wide range of essential academic services to support students throughout their educational journey, from matriculation to graduation (and beyond!).
Common services related to your Student Record include:
- The evaluation and posting of pre-matriculation transfer and test credits to ensure prior learning is accurately recognized and articulated
- Processing post-matriculation transfer credits earned through programs such as study abroad
- Processing veterans' educational benefits
- Determining residency status and eligibility, and assisting students seeking in-state tuition privileges
- Issuing enrollment verifications for various purposes, including insurance and employment
- Providing official transcripts and certified academic documents to facilitate academic and professional advancement
The Office of the University Registrar operates under full adherence to the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) to ensure the integrity and privacy of the student record.
William & Mary complies with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act. Crime statistics and the annual Campus Safety Report are available.
