Boswell Hall

COVID-19 Considerations:

For social distancing, the labs listed below contain fewer usable machines than indicated.  The machines that are NOT usable in these rooms (in-person) have been added as an option in VDI for remote access from home.

Boswell Hall contains two labs, listed below:

Boswell 240

Boswell 240 (Spacial Computing Lab) has 14 Dell Optiplex 5060s and one OptiPlex 5050 serving as the podium machine (connected to the overhead LCD projector).  Each workstation includes standard PAC system software, as well as software specific to this lab.  Boswell 240 is open 24 x 7 except when classes are scheduled.  This lab prints to two Dell duplexing printers in the printer room 242 (access is through the teaching classroom Boswell 244, just up the hall).

NOTE: Specialized software is installed in this classroom, and the use of the lab is prioritized for the use of the software.

Boswell 244

The Boswell 244 lab has 25 Dell OptiPlex 5050s and one podium OptiPlex 5050 machine (connected to the overhead LCD projector).  This lab has duplexing laser printers in the connected printer room.  Several machines in Boswell 244 feature DUAL MONITORS, for use with graphics-intensive applications like ArcGIS.  All machines here feature standard PAC system software, as well as software specific to this lab.

This is open 24 x 7 when classes are not using the room.
