Getting to Know W&M
Once hired, learning more about William & Mary jargon can help you understand the shorthand used in meetings and conversations on campus. Campus maps and the W&M Mobile app can come in handy as you are learning your way around campus. We also recommend you get to know W&M by learning more about the university's history, campus traditions and other tidbits about the campus culture.
University Human Resources
University Human Resources (UHR) hosts a new faculty orientation on benefits, and their website provides information on policies, benefits and resources. UHR also provides different learning opportunities for employees and hosts the mandatory training all employees must complete.

We are excited to welcome new faculty members to our community each year. The Williamsburg Childcare Center is located on campus and provides one option for childcare. The Women's Network on campus also lists students willing to do childcare. A list of pre-schools also provides options for parents.
