Faculty Leadership

Faculty can access various development opportunities to advance their skills and increase their leadership capacity in their faculty roles. The NCFDD provides mentoring resources, writing support, and motivational strategies to support the full range of faculty work and you can access their resources as William & Mary has an institutional membership.

The Faculty Assembly of William & Mary provides an opportunity for all faculty to become engaged in faculty governance. Meetings of the Faculty Assembly are open to all faculty and interested faculty may pursue the opportunity to become an elected member of the Assembly.

The Supporting Mid-Level Leadership program hosts workshops that provide faculty with ready-to-use strategies and tips to enhance their leadership on campus. The Exploring Leadership Program supports leadership development to expand individual leadership abilities both in current roles, to prepare for future leadership opportuhities, and to advance William & Mary's strategic objectives. Particpation is open to all employees regardless of sex or gender.
