Guidelines and Policies

Employers should adhere to the NACE Guidelines and Principles for Employment Professionals when recruiting at William & Mary. Cancellation and Inclement Weather Policy 
If the university is open by 9 am, the event will run as scheduled. If you do not show up on the date of your confirmed visit, and the event runs as scheduled, refunds will not be given. 
If the event has already begun, but is less than 2 hours in, and the university closesthe registration fee will be refunded at 50%. If the university closes with more than 2 hours into the event, the registration fee will be prorated and a refund will be issued.
In the event that the university closes at least 12 hours prior to the event, the event will be cancelled. Registered employers will be provide an option to either apply registration to an alternate or re-scheduled event OR a full-refund.
*We encourage you to monitor the cancellation/delay information prior to and on the day of your scheduled visit by visiting the Provost's general inclement weather page. 
*We will also send an email to the primary registration contact in TribeCareers if the university does implement a delay and/or closing once we are made aware of the university’s plan. In the event that the fair is postponed or cancelled you will receive additional communication regarding the logistics for re-scheduling, refunds, or other information.
In the event you need to cancel your registration due to non-weather-related circumstances, cancellations must be recieved in writing by emailing on or before the last day to register for the event to receive a full refund.
