Williamsburg Area Transit Authority
Parking & Transportation has an ongoing contract with Williamsburg Area Transit Authority to provide transit service for William & Mary students, faculty and staff. Ride any of the routes by just showing your William & Mary ID to the driver as you board. WATA operates a total of twelve routes in the area as well as a paratransit service. Please contact W&M Parking and Transportation at parked@wm.edu to report bus timing, availability, or any other related issues/experiences with the system.
On-Campus (Route 8)
The Route 8 line provides a bus dedicated to daily transportation throughout campus Monday through Friday. The Route 8 Line also provides a connection to Routes 2 (Blue), 5 (Red), 6 (Jamestown) and 14 (Trolley) in the greater Williamsburg area.
