Woody interns expand museum studies partnerships

Driven by a passion for museums and a taste for adventure, this year’s cohort of ten Woody interns is exploring the field alongside specialists in Virginia, Delaware, Ohio, South Carolina, and Washington, DC.

Studio Art major receives the Thomas Jefferson Prize

Yuxin Qin ’23 has made exceptional academic achievements while becoming a well-rounded student. A double major in mathematics and studio art, Qin is poised to begin her career as an actuary doing statistical analysis.

Acadia Solitude

Joshua Miner ’24 is featured in an article about his experiences this past summer at the Schoodic Institute in Acadia National Park. Recently, in the spring of 2023, Joshua was awarded second place, by a Richmond VA based juried show called 'Art Works', for one of his photographs connected to his Schoodic Institute experience.

Bellwethers 2021

Two Studio Art students, Avery Hines '22 and Chris Eliades '23, participated in "Bellwethers 2021: 4th Annual Juried Exhibition of Collegiate Student Art" in Tennessee.
