Batten School of Coastal & Marine Sciences
W&M's Batten School of Coastal & Marine Sciences is located at Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS), one of the largest marine science centers in the U.S. and was established in 1940. The Batten School and VIMS offers M.A., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees across three multidisciplinary sections: Natural Resources, Coastal & Ocean Processes, and Ecosystem Health. Raymond A Mason Business
W&M's Raymond A. Mason School of Business is the business school of the College of William & Mary in Virginia, USA. It was founded in 1968 and named after Raymond A. Mason, a prominent businessman and philanthropist who graduated from William & Mary in 1949. The school offers degrees in Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Accounting (MAcc), and Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA). The graduate community has an MBA Association.
School of Computing, Data Sciences & Physics
W&M's School of Computing, Data Sciences & Physics (CDSP) is the newest of W&M's Graduate Schools with the opening in Fall 2025. The school offers M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Applied Science, Computer Science, Data Science, and Physics. The graduate community (the College of Arts & Sciences and the School of Computing, Data Sciences & Physics) has a joint Graduate Student Association (GSA).
School of Education
W&M's School of Education was established in 1961, although the foundations of this school started in 1693 and was furthered in 1888 and 1906. The school offers in person and online degrees in teacher Education, Educational policy, planning and leadership, and Counseling. The graduate community has a Graduate Education Association.
The College of Arts & Science
The College of Arts & Sciences was renamed in 2025 to reflect its central role at William & Mary, as it was the original "College" back when W&M was chartered in 1693 as a “perpetual College of Divinity, Philosophy, Languages, and other good Arts & Sciences." The college offers Master's and Doctoral degrees in American Studies, Anthropology, Biology, Chemistry, History, Psychological Sciences, Public Policy. The graduate community (the College of Arts & Sciences and the School of Computing, Data Sciences & Physics) has a joint Graduate Student Association (GSA).
W&M Law School
W&M Law School dates back to 1779, as America's first law school. The school offers courses of study for the J.D., combination degrees and LL.M. in American Legal Studies. The graduate community has a Student Bar Association.
