Events

The Graduate Council regularly hosts Grad Bash and Bell Ringing, with other events depending on the year.

Grad Bash (Twice a Year)

Once each semester, Graduate Council host Grad Bash for all graduate students. It is a ticketed event and will be advertised through the Graduate Student Listserve. Come out for a fun evening celebration with fellow graduate students.

Friendsgiving

Graduate Council hosts a Friendsgiving for students who stay around Williamsburg during Thanksgiving week.

Trivia Night

Graduate Council partners with SpeedQuizzingVA to host a trivia night. The categories represent each of W&M's graduate schools. Come with friends to test out your knowledge in a wide variety of topics! In the past we have given out prizes to the top three teams.

Bar Night

Graduate Council partners with one of the local bars to host a bar night. Graduate Council provides the sharable apps and students have the option to purchase alcohol.

Night at the Muscarelle

Graduate Council hosts a semi-formal wine and cheese event for graduate students at the Muscarelle Museum of Art. Enjoy the exhibits of the art museum for the evening while dressed to the nines!

Bell Ringing

Graduate Council hosts a small reception for graduate students to raise a toast in honor of ringing the Wren Bell and their upcoming graduation.
