FUSION Grants

Fueling University Scholars in Interdisciplinary Outreach and Networking

The William & Mary Art & Science Exchange invites proposals for the 2025-2026 FUSION Grants Fund. This initiative supports the formation of short-term, interdisciplinary learning and networking communities composed of faculty across William & Mary.

Purpose

FUSION Grants encourage the cultivation of partnerships across disciplines and schools, along shared scholarly interests. This modest grant is designed to fuel idea incubation and refinement, interdisciplinary team building and seed scalable projects. FUSION Grants are also purposed to promote professional growth and visibility of faculty, enable the development of new curricular or co-curricular initiatives, enhance student engagement, and foster public-facing scholarship that reaches broader audiences, community partners and industry stakeholders.
