New Employee Orientations

New Employee Orientation provides an essential introduction to William & Mary, your benefits, and our campus community. Each orientation offers unique information to help you settle in, connect with colleagues, and navigate university resources with confidence.

We offer two opportunities for new employees to integrate within the university:

We encourage you to review the Benefits Orientation assigned to you through Workday. You can also search "Benefits Orientation" in Workday to access the information. This will help you come prepared with any questions and make the most of the session.

If you have any questions in advance, feel free to reach out to the UHR team at AskHR@wm.edu.

University Orientation

As the second-oldest university in the nation, the university cultivates a communal environment that we are excited to have you join. The orientation is a self-paced program and is assigned at the same time as the Benefits Orientation. It is also searchable as "University Orientation" if it is not immediately assigned.
