New Employee Orientations
New Employee Orientation provides an essential introduction to William & Mary, your benefits, and our campus community. Each orientation offers unique information to help you settle in, connect with colleagues, and navigate university resources with confidence.
We offer three opportunities for new employees to integrate within the university:
Benefits OrientationOur Benefits Orientation is a self-paced program which will be assigned to you through Cornerstone. It will take you approximately 1 hour to complete. The orientation will cover benefit options and selection deadlines plus other key dates. As a reminder, you have 30 days from your hire date to complete certain benefit elections. Virtual Q&A Sessions for New Employees – Benefits OverviewUniversity Human Resources (UHR) will be hosting virtual Q&A sessions to assist new employees with benefit elections and related questions. These sessions are a great opportunity to get personalized answers and guidance as you navigate your benefits options. Session Dates:Q&A sessions will be held from 9 AM to 10 AM.
