Student Art Showcases

Hart Gallery Reception

Located on the second floor of the Sadler Center, the Hart Gallery features rotating student art showcases throughout the year. Exhibiting artists do not need to be Art or Art History majors — all students and all media are welcome, unless otherwise noted in a specific call for submissions.

Past showcases have included:

  • Refractions: Student reflections on LGBTQ+ life
  • Veterans' Expressions: A tribute to the war in Ukraine
  • Figuring Out: Motifs of the human body
  • Looking Back, Looking Forward: Collages inspired by Delita Martin
  • Collective Impact: Recognizing artists of color
  • Responsible Consumption: Earth Day Art Show
  • Fashion
  • Flourish: Motifs of the environment
  • Roots: A celebration of family, friends, community, and nature
  • Catron Scholars Exhibition. A collaboration with The Charles Center

Hours & Location

During a showcase, the Hart Gallery is open during Sadler Center building hours. The Hart Gallery is located on the 2nd floor of the Sadler Center near the Grand Entrance at 200 Stadium Dr. A parking permit may be required during the day.
