The student transition does not end with Orientation.

Although you are no longer a "new student" at William & Mary, even a student with a bit of life experience under their belt encounters a few new firsts and - inevitably - change as they navigate their unique academic and co-curricular journey.

That's why STEP continues assisting in the development of community and providing you with opportunities for exploration, connection, and reflection as you next Form Your Experience... and then Focus Your Experience in preparation for graduation.

Opening Convocation

Early in the evening on the first day of fall classes, faculty, staff and students gather at the Sir Christopher Wren Building to signify the beginning of the academic year and to officially welcome all of our entering William & Mary students.
