About Ema

I’m a rising senior at William & Mary majoring in Psychology with a minor in Kinesiology. I was born and raised in Prague, Czech Republic, where I lived for 17 years before stepping into the unknown and moving to the United States for college. As an international student, adapting to a completely new culture pushed me far outside of my comfort zone, but it also helped me grow in ways I never imagined.

I decided to join ISAB because I understand how overwhelming it can be to navigate everything on your own. From managing academics and building a career path to finding research and job opportunities and understanding complex processes like visas and CPT, it can be a lot to handle. I want to be someone international students can turn to for support, guidance, and encouragement. As a board member, I hope to help make these resources more accessible and contribute to a more welcoming, informed, and connected international student experience.
