About Samanta

Hello everyone!

My name is Samanta, and I’m a second-year MBA student at William & Mary, originally from Brazil. Before joining the program, I ran my own digital marketing business, where I helped entrepreneurs grow their businesses online. At W&M, I’m concentrating in Business Analytics, and I also serve as a student ambassador, welcoming prospective students and sharing my experiences as a graduate student.

I joined ISAB because, as an international student and single mother, I personally understand many of the challenges international students face—from language barriers and cultural adjustment to navigating a new academic system and building social connections. I strongly believe in the power of community, representation, and support, and I want to contribute to making the international student experience at W&M as inclusive, welcoming as possible.

As a board member, I hope to contribute to more inclusive programming, especially improving communication around career opportunities and resources, and serve as a voice for international students on campus.
