Embedded Programs

Embedded Programs are 3-credit semester courses with a short international component incorporated. International trips will be schedule either during spring break or directly after spring semester ends with students returning before the start of summer session one. Programs and courses are taught by W&M faculty. Grades will appear on the official W&M transcript and will be calculated into the GPA.  These programs are eligible for COLL300.

One embedded program is available for the upcoming year! The course will take place on-campus in Fall 2023 and the course will go abroad January 2024. Applications due May 18, 2023!

  • To learn more about these programs or to apply, please select from the list above.
  • Applications for this Fall 2023 program are due May 18, 2023. 
  • The international component for these programs will take place during winter break 2023-2024 and is required for students to receive COLL300.
  • Students who already receive financial aid can use their funding towards these programs. Additional funding for these programs is available and will be awarded based on student need levels.
