Pine Hall

Opened in 2025.

Pine Hall's approximately 500 residents enjoy living in double and single rooms on four floors with an attached dining hall. First-year students occupy the first and second floors with upper-level students occupying the third and fourth floors. Residents enjoy large, centralized lounges with kitchens, cozy study rooms at the end of each wing, plus two outside terraces accessible through the second floor lounges.

Pine Hall is part of the West Woods 1 neighborhood along with Maple, Oak, and Poplar Halls that connects to the Sadler Center and east campus via a scenic bridge. The fourth-floor of Pine Hall houses the Global Village, a living-learning community extending William & Mary's long-held world languages community tradition.

Wireless & Wired Internet

Wireless internet service is available in all residence halls. An ethernet card and cable are required for wired internet. Email your building/room number and the room's ethernet jack number to support@wm.edu to activate the jack.

Pine Hall's First-Floor Room Details - Coming Soon!

Pine Hall's first floor includes twenty-three bedrooms with access to eight single-use hall bathrooms, four additional bathrooms with a toilet & sink, two study rooms, a large social lounge with a kitchen area and the building laundry room. Stairwells and exits are at the end of each wing, as well as a south exit to to egress to the attached dining hall. The elevator is in the central area adjacent to the central wing near the large lounge.

Pine Hall's second floor includes eighty-six bedrooms across three wings and their connecting hallways with access to twenty-eight single-use hall bathrooms, two large lounges (one between each wing) that each include a kitchen plus study rooms at the end of each wing. An exterior terrace may be accessed from each of the two large lounges. Stairwells are at both ends of each wing. The elevator is in the center hallway of the center wing.

Furniture Specifications

The following table provides information about the furniture in the residence halls. Please note these specifications are only a guide, and furniture may vary from room to room.

Lofts, carpets, futons, TVs and microfridges can be rented from Dorms Direct. These items are set up in the room before check-in and removed after check-out in May by the supplying vendor.
