Residence Hall Association

RHA is a student-led organization that shall serve as a representative body for all residential students. The Residence Hall Association operates independently from, but in consultation with, William and Mary Residence Life. The main purpose of RHA is to foster a sense of community between and within residence halls, serve as a link to the administration by representing the interests of residential students, facilitating the exchange of ideas, opinions, and information within the residential student community, and informing residents of administrative policies and decisions. In addition, the RHA shall provide educational and social initiatives for residential students and serve as a resource and successor for Community Councils recognized by Residence Life. RHA also directly oversees and serves as the Community Council for Evans Apartments, Ludwell Apartments, and Richmond Hall and any other university owned or operated community as determined by Residence Life.

Working in the past to implement administrative initiatives such as flexible housing (in 2016) and organize campus-wide events such as Fall Festival, What's Up Wednesday, and the Multicultural Celebration. Every student who lives on campus is eligible to become a member at large by attending weekly meetings.

National Residence Hall Honorary

The William & Mary Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) is part of a larger organization of Residence Hall Leaders. NRHH exists to recognize those residents who have committed time and effort to make their college experiences and the experiences of those around them more meaningful through work in their residence halls.
