It is part of our mission in Residence Life to provide a home where William & Mary students may personally and academically flourish. We partner with our residents to create caring and responsible communities.
Through our collective efforts, we hope that students will ultimately be able to determine what it means to be in a community with others and their responsibility in its development and evolution as empowered leaders. We accomplish this through our Residential Experience!
Belonging
Students will develop a sense of belonging in their community by embracing diverse perspectives and learning about the experiences of others through the development of meaningful connections and significant relationships.
Wellbeing
Students will develop the self-awareness, habits, and support systems necessary to thrive, align their actions with their values, and sustain personal growth throughout their residential experience.
Community Engagement
Sstudents will recognize their shared responsibility within a community and actively contribute to creating an environment where all members can connect, participate, and flourish.
