Program Purpose & Goals
Africana House is a special interest community that promotes awareness of and explores the scholarship on the history, cultural traditions, and political and economic circumstances that define people of African descent.
Student Experience
The Africana House is located in Landrum Hall. This hall is ADA accessible for students of all abilities to have the opportunity to participate in Africana House programs.

Learning Outcomes
This community (limited to 42 students) is intended to broaden the learning experience at W&M beyond the traditional classroom while providing a smaller village-like setting within the more prominent university where students live and work together.
