Summary
Amazon MTurk will discontinue by September 30th. IRB researchers will need to take action before the closure to ensure their protocol is updated and participants are compensated. Read the full announcement for more details.

If you listed MTurk as a recruitment platform in your IRB protocol, please submit a modification to update your submission.
Additionally, you will need to communicate the closure to study participants to ensure payment is received.
William & Mary IRB does allow for the use of Prolific if another crowdsourcing recruitment platform is needed.
