Human Ethics (IRB)

What is it?

W&M's IRB (Institutional Review Board) oversees the university's human ethics program and is responsible for reviewing all IRB protocols and amendments, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, inspecting facilities and laboratories, and overseeing training and educational programs.

The SPARCS Human Ethics module facilitates the preparation, review and approval of human subject protocols.
