About Roxane
Roxane O. Adler Hickey serves as the Assistant Provost for Leadership & Academic Engagement
at William & Mary’s Washington Center, where she advances the university’s vision of
cultivating principled, engaged, and prepared leaders. She leads university-wide initiatives that
define and elevate leadership and civic engagement, while maintaining strategic oversight of

A champion of authentic and inclusive leadership, Roxane teaches courses on leadership
development, career readiness, and professional reflection. She also facilitates workshops and
retreats across campus and beyond, integrating her expertise as a Gallup-Certified Strengths
