To apply for need-based financial aid, all students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). In addition to this, we also request the CSS Profile from our entering students only (it is not necessary for returning students to complete the Profile)
Be sure to read form directions carefully and make sure to meet all necessary deadlines. Missed deadlines can affect your eligibility for specific types of financial aid.
In order to download the forms, you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
If you experience difficulties completing a form, please contact our office for assistance.

These forms would only be requested if you are seeking need-based financial aid from William and Mary's Office of Student Financial Aid (indicated by your filing a FAFSA). You do not need to submit these forms if you only desire merit-based aid from William and Mary.
If you send unsolicited documents, we are required to verify the information regardless of your verification status. In other words, if you were not originally required to go through the verification process, sending an unprompted document will require our office to verify the student's FAFSA data.
