Animal Oversight (IACUC)

What is it?

W&M's IACUC (Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee) oversees the university's animal care and use program and is responsible for reviewing all animal use protocols and amendments, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, inspecting animal facilities and laboratories, and overseeing training and educational programs.

The SPARCS Animal Oversight module facilitates the preparation, review and approval of animal care and use protocols.
