Hazing Prevention Education and Resources

Our goal is to empower all in our community to recognize hazing in its various forms, to know what to do when they see hazing activity or experience it directly, and to feel confident in taking action.  One of the ways we hope to empower our community to do this is through awareness, education, and access to resources.  On this website, you will find information on different training and education opportunities as well as a variety of resources that help all members of our community work towards a safer and healthier membership experiences. 

Required Trainings

Training Intended Audience Description
Home Without Hazing for Prospective Members Students interested in joining organizations falling under Adam's Law requirements Multiple sessions of this in-person training will be offered each semester, details can be found on TribeLink Events.  
Home Without Hazing for Organizations/Chapters Members of organizations meeting the criteria within Adam's Law  Primary Contacts of organizations needing to complete this training will receive information about setting up this annual training for their group. 
Prevent Zone for Sport Clubs Students seeking to join a Sports Club for the first time. Interested students can access the online training at: https://wm.prevent.zone.  Make sure to save your certificate of completion!
Prevent Zone for Athletics All student-athletes competing on an intercollegiate athletics team. All student-athletes must complete this online training annually, prior to competition begins for the season; links will be provided by Athletics staff.  Additionally, all teams will participate in an in-person training. 

*Please note that completion of Home Without Hazing and Prevent Zone trainings are not interchangeable; students can not substitute one training for the other.
