The Tack Faculty Lecture Series is a newer W&M tradition that enables the College and local communities to come together to celebrate both faculty excellence and the intellectual liveliness of the university. Through this series, a William & Mary professor addresses the community on a topic of general interest at least once a semester.
This series gives everyone the opportunity to take part in the William & Mary experience. It showcases some of our most engaging professors and is an opportunity for all members of the Tribe and beyond to take part in our relentless pursuit of knowledge.
The next entry in the Tack Faculty Lecture Series will be offered by Barbara King, Chancellor Professor of Anthropology. “Wild Grief/Untamed Love: Emotions in the Animal World” will be presented on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 7 p.m. at the Kimball Theatre.
