Accessibility Tip of the Month: Use Proper Headings in Cascade
When editing web pages in Cascade, it’s important to use heading styles (like Heading 2, Heading 3) to organize your content, not bolded text or larger font sizes. Headings create a clear structure that screen readers rely on to help users navigate a page quickly and efficiently.
For example, if your page has multiple sections (like Overview, Timeline, and Resources), make each of those a Heading 2 using the format dropdown in the editor. Sub-sections underneath can be Heading 3, and so on. This doesn’t just help users with disabilities, it improves readability for everyone and makes your page look more polished and professional.
