Make an Appointment at the Student Health Center

You can always call, (757) 221-4386, or stop by during standard hours of operation to schedule an appointment.  To provide students with more convenient access to care, online scheduling is also available through the Online Health Portal. Most appointments can be booked with a few simple clicks, making it easier than ever to manage your health on your schedule.

How to schedule your appointment online

1. Log in to the Online Health Portal using your W&M credentials.
2. Navigate to the Appt. Scheduling tab and select the Schedule Appt. option.
3. Choose your preferred date range and select the Reason for Appointment from the list.
   You may also elect the gender of your provider, if you have a preference.
4. Search and select your appointment. 
5. You will receive a confirmation of your appointment and a notification if you have forms to complete.

• While most appointments can be scheduled online, some services may still require you to contact us directly.
• For urgent issues, contact the Student Health Center by phone at 757-221-4386 or visit us in person.

Prepare for Your Appointment

You may receive forms to fill out ahead of time in the Online Health Portal. Additionally, some forms may be uploaded at check-in.  Please plan to arrive at the Health Center about 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment so that any necessary paperwork or preliminary procedures can be done prior to seeing the provider. 

Bring Your Insurance Card

Please bring your insurance card with you to your appointment to ensure we have the correct information to pass on in case of the need of service(s) (i.e. pharmacy services, lab testing, x-ray, referral to a specialist, etc.).

Payment

Payment for services is expected at the time of your appointment. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards. We do not accept cash or checks for payment. Learn more about fees and charges.

Missed Appointment & Late Cancellation Charges

There is a charge for missed appointments and for late cancellation of appointments. If you are not able to keep your appointment, please call the Health Center as soon as possible (preferably at least 1 hour prior to your appointment).
