About Maggie

Maggie serves as the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs-Campus Living at William & Mary. Her job entails oversight for Housing Assignments & Facilities, Residence Life and Student Transition and Engagement Programs.

Prior to joining W&M, she worked at James Madison University for 27 years, serving in multiple roles such as Director of Residence Life, Honor Council Coordinator, and finally as Chief of Staff to the President, serving on the President’s cabinet. Maggie has had a couple of cool summer gigs, spending the summer of 1996 as the Director of Housing for one of the athlete villages for the Atlanta Olympic Games and summer of 2015 as Faculty Member in Residence in London for a JMU study abroad program.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications/graphic design from Bowling Green State University, and a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from The Ohio State University. Outside of work, Maggie enjoys spending time with her kids and grandkids, crafting and painting, travel, loving on lots of pets including dogs, Ragdoll cats, and horses.

Current projects include implementing Phase I the first comprehensive housing and dining master plan in the history of W&M with opening of 5 brand new residence halls.
