Weeks of Welcome (WoW) is a curated calendar of events happening all over campus to help you meet people, find your favorite spots, and figure out what W&M has to offer — all on your own timetable.

Whether you're brand new to W&M or you've been here a while, WoW is for you. Come as you are, show up when you can, and check out whatever catches your eye.

WoW runs from Move-in to Fall Break (Fall) or Charter Day (Spring). New events get added as University partners, clubs, and organizations sign on — so check back often!

The below calendar will populate as university partners, clubs, and organizations confirm their participation, so check back frequently!

Earn Prizes for Showing Up

3. Repeat to earn WoW merch!

Host a WoW Event Do you want your event on the WoW calendar? Attend an Optional Info Session! Tuesday, August 11th | 9:30 - 10:15 AM [In-Person, Sadler Center James Room] Thursday, August 13th | 1:00 - 1:45 PM [Zoom] At least one week prior: Create your event at W&M Events Recommend it for Weeks of Welcome Events should: Occur between Move-in and Fall Break (Fall) or Charter Day (Spring) Be open to all students Be free Be on-campus, near campus, or provide transportation Tie to at least one W&M Value STEP reserves the right to determine which events are included on the Weeks of Welcome calendar.
