Funding Sources
OSP maintains a set of curated funding directories to help W&M faculty identify external grant opportunities aligned with their research. The Humanities A–Z and Sciences A–Z directories provide discipline-specific listings of federal agencies, private foundations and scholarly organizations. For foundation funding specifically, the Foundation Directory Online offers a searchable database of private funders across all fields.
Key federal agency portals, including Grants.gov, FedConnect, NSF, NIH, NEH, and the U.S. Department of Education, are also linked directly for faculty who are ready to search active solicitations, review submission guidelines, or access program-specific resources.
