Lockouts

Locked out? First contact an RA in your building.

Residents should select the appropriate option below to regain entry if an RA is unavailable. Your student ID will be required. Note that while the first lockout of the academic year is free, each subsequent lockout will be a $40.00 fee assessed to your student account.

Please review the respective procedure for the day and time you are locked out.

Interim Session:

• For 7am on Sunday, May 17, 2026 through 6pm on Sunday, May 24, 2026
  
  • Weekends & evenings: Call the Lock Out Line for assistance - (757) 345-9125
  • Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm: Go to the Campus LIving Center for assistance - 230 Gooch Drive (down the hill behind the Sadler & Wellness Centers)
  • Normal Lock Out procedures begin at 6pm on Sunday, May 24, 2026

Monday (after 8am) through Friday

8am - 5pm	Go to the Residence Life office at 230 Gooch Drive (down the hill behind the Sadler & Wellness Centers) or call (757) 221-4314.
5pm - 6pm	Contact your RA or wait until the duty office opens at 6pm.
6pm - 7am	Call or visit your assigned duty office for assistance.

Saturday, Sunday, Holidays or Monday (before 8am)
