Required Researcher Training
To determine the trainings appropriate for you and your research personnel, please follow the directions outlined depending on what research committee will review your protocol(s) and/or your funding source.

Information About Training Requirements
- Trainings must be completed before the protocol can be approved. CITI courses expire after 4 years and must be retaken before protocol approval can be granted.
- If you are listed as personnel on protocols for various committees/funded projects, please make sure to complete all the required trainings for each project.
- External members can complete CITI trainings under W&M. They would follow the same instructions to create a CITI account as explained in the About CITI page.
