About Steven
Steven graduated from University of Minnesota with a BS in Neuroscience with experience working in the Department of Psychiatry's animal research lab. This allowed for the opportunity to perform animal research full time in a preclinical contract research organization with an emphasis on biocompatibility in small animals. Before joining W&M, Steven transitioned to working project management in custom software.
Steven is now the primary administrator managing W&M's Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) providing regulatory oversight on animal research performed in labs and in the field through protocol review, inspections, and SOP development. Additional oversight is also provided to the W&M IRB and IBC committees.
