Qlik Sense & Finance 101

Qlik Sense Finance 101 is designed to be an introductory-level course.  Content will focus on primary Qlik Sense navigation and provide a simple overview of financial data at the university.

Part one is an overview of Qlik Sense and compares Qlik Sense to other reporting sources.

Part two focuses on primary Qlik Sense navigation, including how to access Qlik Sense, and introduces you to the key Qlik Sense terms.

Part three will equip you with the definitions of key financial terms, such as FOAPAL, Index, and Chart of Accounts, which will likely be encountered when managing finances at William & Mary and VIMS.

Part four encourages you to interact with Qlik Sense. This section includes an interactive Qlik Sense exercise using the Index FOAPAL Sheet to enhance vital financial terms and basic Qlik Sense navigation.
