Biography

Sofia Meyerle ’27 is from Arlington, Virginia, and is studying Data Science and Economics. Her interest in conservation stems from an appreciation for the beauty of nature and a love for animals, which have sparked her curiosity about the interactions between environmental and human systems. Sofia is motivated by a desire to contribute to a more sustainable and equitable world and hopes to apply her analytical skills to inform conservation decision-making.

Outside of academics, Sofia works as a supervisor at William & Mary Campus Recreation and as a research assistant in the Economics Department. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career at the intersection of conservation and urban planning.
