Lydia Crouch '28

Lydia Crouch (she/her) is from Richmond, VA, where picnicking at Maymont and playing in the James River inspired her love of nature.  This early connection to the outdoors sparked her passion for environmental education in youth and collaboration with Indigenous Tribes. She has been able to do so through the Javari Education Project, where she is improving a lesson curriculum about interconnectedness with nature and communities in collaboration with the Marubo Tribe and Celine Cousteau. As an Eco Rep and member of the IIC Student Leadership Council, Lydia hopes to bring our community closer together through our shared passion for conservation and sustainability.
