Program Fees

The W&M Fees for students in the Global Scholars Program are:
  • A $500 fall course fee
  • A $2,500 winter seminar course fee
  • A $500 spring course fee
  • A study abroad fee (visit each individual cohort page to see specific study abroad fees)
  • A summer internship course fee based on your residency:
    • In State: $3,500
    • Out of State: $5,000
Additional Potential Fees (not included above):
  • Optional January Washington D.C. housing fee of $900
  • Summer housing (depending on location internship selection: e-internship, Washington D.C., global) with a housing fee of $4,500
  • Dinners in D.C.
  • Some meals for Study Abroad
What Your Tuition and Fees Will Cover
  • Cohort activities during the fall and spring semesters (cohort orientation, transportation, hotel for November D.C. trip, and food)
  • D.C. Winter Program
  • Study Abroad in Brussels/Paris
  • Summer coursework/internship
  • Support for personalized mentorship and career and internship development 
  • Faculty/administrator salaries
Financial Aid

Currently enrolled and matriculated W&M students can take out student loans, private loans, or their parents can take out a PLUS Loan, to cover the cost of the Global Scholars Program. Students must complete a FAFSA form to apply for loans. 

Scholarships

A pool of scholarship funding, based on need, will be available from D.C. Center, the Reves Center, and the Global Research Institute. Students are also eligible for FUSE scholarships through the Office of Career Development and Professional Engagement.
