An Annual Gathering of Leaders

Once you've completed the Modern Leadership course, you’ll gain ongoing access to an exclusive annual in-person event—every year, for life! This dynamic experience alternates between the W&M Washington Center in D.C. and William & Mary’s main campus in Williamsburg, VA.

At this event, you'll hear from inspiring speakers (possibly one you've heard from in the course), dive into an interactive workshop, and connect with fellow leaders at a networking reception. Join the W&M Washington Center and the Studio for Teaching & Learning Innovation for the first annual Modern Leadership Networking Day! This special event brings together friends old and new from the past five years of the Modern Leadership curriculum for an afternoon of connection, reflection, and deeper leadership exploration.

This inaugural gathering kicks off a rotating series of networking events designed exclusively for Modern Leadership participants. We are thrilled to welcome back all past participants, guest speakers, and stakeholders for the first of many in-person opportunities to reconnect, share experiences, and continue growing as Modern Leaders.
