Career Ready with Cohen

Career Ready with Cohen is a four-week, self-paced asynchronous virtual program that is designed to give you experience creating your resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, and interview practice! The program is designed for participants to focus on one topic per week.  Additionally, we will provide weekly office hours – Tuesdays & Wednesdays 12:30-1:30 PM EST – for students who have questions or would like to discuss these topics further.

Career Ready with Cohen Session 2 will be available in Blackboard from July 12 to August 8, 2021.

As a result of Career Ready with Cohen, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the importance of conveying their experiences through resumes, cover letters, interviewing, and LinkedIn.
  • Recognize areas of opportunity to build up their experience.
  • Have confidence in their ability to prepare a quality resume and cover letter, to create an effective LinkedIn profile for networking and career research, and to present themselves well in an interview through feedback on drafts of all materials submitted on Blackboard.
To register for Career Ready with Cohen, please fill out this very brief form: https://bit.ly/2CareerReadyRegistration closes Monday, July 5, 2021.

Attention Class of 2021!

Please help W&M by taking the Next Destination survey.  It is short and simple, but very important, and will help tell your class story and inform rankings. By completing the survey you have the opportunity to share your most meaningful experience, name W&M faculty/administrators/staff who influenced your W&M experience, and raise your hand to be a mentor to future members of the Tribe.  Your information matters, you matter! Complete the survey here.

The Cohen Career Center is still here to help you!
